Business Team Report - Jack/Scott

  • Focus has been on Summit
  • Themes for the year are:
    • Farming for input
      • Survey was launched at LinuxCon, Phil driving
      • First step in gathering data
    • Improving documentation
  • Also some good work going on in reaching out to projects:
    • Apache
    • Yocto

Legal Team Report - Jack

  • Last meeting mostly focused on the action item list and getting updates

Tech Team Report - Gary

  • Two meetings since Collab Summit have involved
    • Sifting through the good inputs from the Bake Off
      • All ideas gleaned have been input into Bugzilla for tracking
    • Reviewing a proposal for 1.2
    • Discussing Daniel German's proposal for text matching
      • Overall positive discussion
      • Some concern about technical complexity of regular expressions
      • May be ways to simplify
      • Needs to be discussed cross functionally with Legal Team.
        • Jilayne to set up, perhaps using upcoming legal call time.


Cross Functional Issues – Phil

  • Web Site Update - Jack
    • Up with new Wiki
    • Discussion about how to field and address questions about using the Wiki
      • Some thoughts of a new mailing list, but there wasn't a lot of appetite for the idea.
  • Survey
    • Big push at Collab Summit and to all mailing lists
    • 24 responses to date
    • Discussion about how to get more responses.
      • Mike Dolan took action to get into the LF newsletter
